APEX is for any intermediate to advanced athlete/trainee with big goals who’s willing to train hard to get strong, build muscle, drop body fat, and become a powerful athlete.

From a macro standpoint, there are four training phases in APEX. The first three phases last 3 weeks each. The fourth phase consists of two 3-week blocks lasting 6 weeks (in total).
On a daily/weekly basis, there are four full-body lifting days per week, one “customizable” fifth day, and 3 “add-on” options that you can perform in addition to the main training program.

The program is designed to be performed five days per week, with four days of lifting and a fifth speed and/or conditioning day. There are several add-on workouts you can perform on the other 1-2 days of the week, as well.
However, APEX is designed to work as a “move-at-your-own-pace” program, so you can easily customize it to your schedule - whether you can only train 3-4 days per week, miss a day here or there, have a busy schedule, etc. - without skipping a beat.

The fifth training day is a “choose-your-own-adventure” day geared towards speed, conditioning, or a separate option (of your choosing) based on what you want to accomplish.

The lifting sessions shouldn’t take any longer than 60-80 minutes to complete. The customizable fifth day workouts may vary a bit more, although they generally range between 30-45 minutes.

As long as you have access to the basic equipment available in most commercial gyms, you should be fine. If any issues DO pop up, there are plenty of alternatives to just about every exercise that should keep you covered.

ABOUT ME
My name is Charley Gould, and I’ve been heavily involved in athletics and training all my life. After finishing up my career as a Division-1 athlete and professional baseball player, the past six years of my life have been dedicated to running Universal Sports Perfomance in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
In that time, I’ve worked with hundreds of people - from high-level athletes, to former athletes, to hard-working “every day” people and everyone else in between - to help them become strong, powerful, jacked, lean, and athletic while moving and feeling better.
However, as I continued to receive emails and messages from people who can’t train with us in person, I slowly realized that there’s a huge need out there for a truly dynamite training program that checks all these boxes without making you feel like a total dumpster fire.
